About Me
I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with BA in professional writing and creative writing (and a minor in ceramics, if you were curious about how I spend my free time). I have over 8 years of experience in content creation and management and have worked in the publishing, sports, nonprofits, medical insurance, and business management consulting industries (plus a few that I've just dipped my toes into).

I have a range experience wearing many hats (including leadership, project management, process development, and change management), but I'm most passionate about writing and content management. I've been a grammar nerd ever since I first started learning the Shurley method (and all its jingles) in fourth grade, and I've been passionate about consistency probably from the day I was born
My eye and care for consistency in the little things have been especially important in our digital age, where content management encompasses much more than writing alone. Managing content requires writing concise, meaningful copy; designing clean, on-brand documents and web pages; adhering to organizational guidelines; organizing files and communications; and keeping information up-to-date and timely, to name just a few on the technical side. Of course, those don't even begin to cover the human element involved.
Between the technical and the human element, these processes can be overwhelming and time-consuming in the midst of all the other tasks necessary to keep your organization moving forward. That’s where someone who loves the challenge of balancing all those pieces comes in—to help your organization thrive through effective, efficient content creation and management. Together, we can create a brand voice and content management system with sustainable success for your whole team.
